UEFA World Cup Qualifiers groups set

World cup qualifiers groups are set for Europe!

The European qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup feature a new format with 12 groups, each containing either four or five teams. The qualification process began with the draw held on December 13, 2024. The group stage matches will take place between March and November 2025, followed by play-offs in March 2026.

Groups Overview:

  1. Group A: Germany/Italy (winner), Slovakia, Northern Ireland, Luxembourg
  2. Group B: Switzerland, Sweden, Slovenia, Kosovo
  3. Group C: Portugal/Denmark (loser), Greece, Scotland, Belarus
  4. Group D: France/Croatia (winner), Ukraine, Iceland, Azerbaijan
  5. Group E: Spain/Netherlands (winner), Türkiye, Georgia, Bulgaria
  6. Group F: Portugal/Denmark (winner), Hungary, Republic of Ireland, Armenia
  7. Group G: Spain/Netherlands (loser), Poland, Finland, Lithuania, Malta
  8. Group H: Austria, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, San Marino
  9. Group I: Germany/Italy (loser), Norway, Israel, Estonia, Moldova
  10. Group J: Belgium, Wales, North Macedonia, Kazakhstan, Liechtenstein
  11. Group K: England, Serbia, Albania, Latvia, Andorra
  12. Group L: France/Croatia (loser), Czechia, Montenegro, Faroe Islands, Gibraltar
